How do I install WordPress?

If you purchase a Managed WordPress Hosting plan, WordPress will be automatically installed for you. If you have a cPanel hosting plan there will be a button inside cPanel to install WordPress. If you have fully managed hosting or another hosting plan with us, please contact us and we’ll be glad to install WordPress for you.

How do I reset my WordPress password?

In most cases you can click on the forgot password link on the login page to begin the reset process. If that isn’t working, you can follow the steps listed in this article.

How do I access cPanel?

In a browser, go to (replacing with your domain name). If this doesn’t work, your site may not be resolving on our servers yet. In this case, please use the URL provided in your welcome email or contact us for assistance.

I’m having difficulty connecting with FTP.

Many problems with FTP are caused by the following:

  • You may be using the incorrect FTP host. Please make sure you are using the information listed in the FTP section of cPanel.
  • Instead of using FTP, switch to SFTP. Not only is it more secure, but it works behind firewalls. Nearly all FTP clients support SFTP.
  • You may be using the wrong username or password. Your username will be the same username you use to log into cPanel.
  • Your IP may be blocked. If you cannot access your website or FTP, your IP may be blocked. To fix this, please contact us with your IP address (you can obtain your IPv4 address from this page).

How do I setup my email account on my new device?

You can find detailed instructions and guides on setting up nearly any device or mail client in the cPanel email section. Log into your cPanel account and click on Email Accounts, then select the mailbox in question. On this page you will find the appropriate server login details.

How do I access webmail?

You can go to (replace with your domain name) to access webmail.

I can’t access my email. The server is timing out. What should I do?

In most cases this is caused by an IP block for too many login failures. Please contact us with your IP address and we help you resolve this. You can obtain your IPv4 address here.

I’m frequently locked out of my email account. How can I prevent this?

Please check all devices that use your IP (including tablets, cell phones, extra computers, etc.) for correct email login details. A forgotten or seldom-connected device is often the cause of repeated IP blocks.
