Horde Webmail
OCS Solutions offers Horde webmail with our cPanel web hosting plans. Horde webmail allows you to read and respond to your e-mail in a web browser without having to configure a mail client like Microsoft Outlook. This feature is especially useful when traveling or using multiple computers.
Horde's Features
Horde webmail is an advanced webmail system featuring a robust calendar, task list, notebook, address book, and more. The e-mail management system includes support for advanced filters, attachments, spell checking, and displays HTML e-mail well.
In the screenshot below, you will see the Horde webmail interface with an empty mailbox account. Icons for all of Horde's features are within easy reach.
The compose window pops up in a seperate window, just like it does in Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express. Below you will see an example of it.
You can save a message as a draft, or even insert e-mails directly from your address book.
Horde Webmail and IMAP / POP3
Horde webmail does not conflict with your IMAP mail account (in fact it uses it to manage your e-mail), so you can also use a desktop mail client to manage your e-mail without interferring with the way your message folders are stored on the server.
POP3 however will download mail and remove it from our servers, so if you want to use POP3 and Horde webmail, we recommend having your POP3 client leave messages on the server. You can configure this in most mail clients in the server settings area.

Accessing Your Webmail
You can access it by going to:
http://www.yoursite.com/webmail/
Replace www.yoursite.com with your domain name. You will be prompted for a username and password. For the username, use your full e-mail address.
